WAYLO Smart Speed Guard
حارس السرعة الذكي من WAYLO — a real-time speed monitor built on verified data, not assumptions.
Three alert levels
- Level 1 — Approaching limit: a subtle warning near the posted limit, based on your chosen 3, 5 or 10 km/h offset.
- Level 2 — Over the posted limit: shown as soon as your speed exceeds the posted limit, with no assumed buffer.
- Level 3 — Potential enforcement threshold exceeded: shown only where WAYLO holds a current, verified enforcement threshold for that exact jurisdiction and road rule.
What WAYLO will never say
- That you received a fine.
- That a radar caught you.
- That a violation has been registered.
- WAYLO cannot know whether a fine was issued without an authorised government integration.
No nationwide buffer assumption
- WAYLO does not hard-code a +20 km/h rule anywhere.
- Enforcement thresholds are stored per country, emirate, road and road segment, each with an official source, effective dates, verification status and verification date.
- Where no verified threshold exists, WAYLO uses the posted legal limit for safety alerts and makes no claim about enforcement.
Measurement reliability
- GPS accuracy filtering, road snapping and minimum confidence thresholds.
- Short smoothing window and rejection of impossible GPS jumps.
- Protection against parallel-road confusion, tunnels and weak GPS.
- A potential speed event needs a reliable map match, acceptable accuracy, multiple consecutive valid readings and a confirmed speed limit. Otherwise WAYLO shows Speed data uncertain and creates no event.
Your speed data stays yours
- Speed events are stored privately and protected by row-level security.
- We do not sell speed history or share it with businesses, insurers or employers.
- You can disable storage, delete events and set an automatic deletion period.
Verified posted speed limits and enforcement thresholds require licensed data and official sources. Until those are loaded for a road, Smart Speed Guard shows Data unavailable for that segment rather than guessing.
