Location
- Precise location is requested only when you start using the map or navigation.
- Background location is requested only for journey sharing or active navigation, and it is explained before it is requested.
- If you refuse a permission, WAYLO keeps working with reduced functionality.
Speed events
- Stored privately, protected by row-level security, deletable by you, with configurable retention.
- Never sold, never shared with businesses, insurers, employers or authorities without an explicit legal basis and your consent.
Businesses and advertising
- Businesses receive aggregate, privacy-safe metrics only.
- No driver identity, no precise route, no speed history.
- You can disable personalised advertising at any time.
Your controls
- Export your data, delete your account, review consent history, disable history and set retention periods.
