Smart Speed Guard

A calm, honest speed display — never a claim about enforcement outcomes.

Smart Speed Guard reads your speed from the device GPS and compares it with the posted limit recorded for the road you are travelling on. When your speed stays above that limit for a sustained period, the panel warns you clearly rather than flashing on every brief fluctuation.

Where a road has a recorded tolerance or threshold, WAYLO can display it as contextual information. This is reference data maintained inside WAYLO, not a live feed from any authority, and it does not predict or confirm any penalty.

Speed warnings during a trip are counted and appear in your private trip summary, so you can review your own driving afterwards. Speed data belongs to your account and is never shown to businesses or advertisers.

Frequently asked questions

Is the posted limit always correct?
Road signage is always authoritative. WAYLO shows recorded limit data that can be out of date after roadworks or signage changes.
Does WAYLO detect speed cameras or fines?
No. WAYLO does not claim to detect enforcement or predict fines. It only shows your speed against recorded limit data.
